Heilen Woodworking Machinery design and manufacture the Heilen range of laminate postforming machines. Our static laminate forming machines are easy to operate and give excellent results.Our design objective was to produce a machine capable of performing internal and external forms on laminate fabrications with the absolute minimum of set up time. With the T.40B model we feel that this objective has been achieved.
External forms such as PF1 (waterfall edge) and PF2 (full bull nose wrap) are performed with ease, using the pneumatic assisted aluminum forming bar. The T.40B is equally at home with both solvent or water based adhesives, super tight bonding of laminate to work-piece is achieved with either. With the aid of the digital countdown timer on the control panel any brand or type of laminate can be timed under the heat of the element bank, until its ultimate forming temperature is reached. The advantages of the digital timer are clear. 1. One form or fabrication after another once the timer has been set for the laminate in use. 2. No damages to work-pieces that are normally caused by incorrect forming temperatures.The heated coving bar mounted on the front of the T.40B, is supplied from a digital temperature controller situated on the control panel. The round coving bar enables the operator to produce internal forms such as up-stands and back splashes with ease. A 90 degree clamp bar is located directly below the heated cove bar to allow the operator to fit his pre-made filler piece, or to apply a quick set resin, all this can be carried out whilst the work-piece is still located firmly in the machine by the pressure beam.
